How to
1. The upgrade file is a .sup file or a .sup file contained in a .zip archive. When a .zip is downloaded you need to extract (unzip) the zip file to get the upgrade file (.sup).
2. To install the software you need to connect to the EV charger. You have two options:
A. Remote installation - Ensure your EV charger is connected to the same network as your device (computer, smartphone or tablet).
B. Local installation - Connect a computer to your EV charger with an USB cable or using Provisioning WiFi. Both methods are described in the manual.
3. Access the chargers web interface via your device's web browser. Navigate to the ‘Firmware Update’ section. Upload the downloaded and extracted firmware file through the interface. Follow on-screen prompts to start the firmware update process. Do not disconnect or turn off the charger during the update.

Requirements
To install the firmware, it requires a computer or smartphone connected to the same network as the NANOGRID™ AIR and a connection to internet.
You need to unpack the downloaded .zip package to get the update file (.enc format). You might need an app for this. Look for an "unarchiver", or "unzip" app.
Statement regarding support for TLS Version 1.3 on R3.x Firmware
We want to inform you that CTEK does not support TLS version 1.3 on CHARGESTORM CONNECTED 1 and earlier models (Eva & CSR Series). This is due to the coding within Firmware R3.x We do however support TLS Version 1.3 in Firmware version R4.x
Please check your installed base before upgrading your security certificates to ensure continuity of the secured connection. If this is not checked and firmware is not compatible, there is a risk connectivity could be lost.
